Ironically, he’s not saying thanks, that’s that girl’s name.</p>
<p><em>Yamato 2520</em> was an attempt to do a sequel that took place hundreds of years after the original 3 <em>Yamato</em> series(es?) ended. I don’t know much about it, but I can see why it never got past it’s first, one-hour episode.  It was a stupid premise wrapped inside an absurdly complicated universe. I challenge anyone to get through the opening narration and still understand what the heck is going on.</p>
