REAL LIFE EXO-SUIT

by ThePete 3:39 pm 2005-06-09

Anyone who watches anime or has at least seen Transformers: The Movie, knows what an exo-suit is. For those of you who are imaginationally challenged ;) an exo-suit is a suit of robotic parts that allows you to be stronger, in some cases faster and in all cases more bad-ass than your usual self. The Japanese have had exo-suits in their media for decades and in corners of ours, we’ve had them, too (remember Marvel Comics’ Iron Man?).

But now the Japenese have them for real.

I know–it’s not the greatest example–some Japanese guy carrying a skinny little Japanese woman with this exo-suit, but it’s obvious the thing works. Sure, you probably couldn’t take on Megatron with it, but if your arms and legs didn’t work, you could still get around and pick things up. That’s nothing to sneeze at right?

Read more about it in an article from www.AFP.com and News.Yahoo.com.
