LAW SAVING SCHIAVO–COMMUNIST?

by ThePete 8:30 am 2005-03-28

UPDATED: SwiftReport is apparently a satire site. Read more about it before you read the rest of this post. Thanks.

Here’s another gem from SwiftReport.Blogs.com. Yes, I know I said I wouldn’t post again on the Schiavo case, but this is too good to miss. Remember that law all those conservative lawmakers (and Bush) signed into existence? They did it to save Terri Shiavo’s life–the catch is, the new law guarantees the right to food, water and shelter.

While the post at SwiftReport.Blogs.com doesn’t mention this, I see what this means–it’s communism.

Thanks to this law, it is now the government’s responsibility to provide me with food, water and shelter.

Awesome. I didn’t really want to get another dayjob anyway.

Ha, yeah, right–we’ll see how long this law stays on the books!

“Oh, uh, did we say that? Um… NO! I mean, uh, no we didn’t mean that all humans are guaranteed a right to food, water and shelter for free! No! You’ll have to pay the government contractor we hired to supply food, water and shelter–good old Halliburton.”

Where are the Democrats? Oh yeah, Spinelessville, USA. Which state is Spinelessville in? I’m not sure–probably a blue state…
