GOP Colorado Rep Tom Tancredo isn’t, that’s who!

Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo’s campaign stood by his assertion that bombing holy Muslim sites would serve as a good “deterrent” to prevent Islamic fundamentalists from attacking the United States, his spokeswoman said Friday.

“This shows that we mean business,” said Bay Buchanan, a senior Tancredo adviser. “There’s no more effective deterrent than that. But he is open-minded and willing to embrace other options. This is just a means to deter them from attacking us.”

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA someone just shot his own political future down into the dust. Unfortunately, this comment isn’t making a lot of waves in the public eye, what with gays soliciting for sex in airport restrooms and Britney being fat and untalented on stage. Come on get your priorities in check, people!

“Bombing and destroying religious lands in the Middle East would not only anger those in the Middle East, but would be a personal affront to anyone of the Muslim faith here in America. Tom Tancredo is sending a message of intolerant, religious hatred to those both overseas and to those belonging to the American Muslim community.

Actually, he’d be destroying everything we hold dear in America regarding religious tolerance and treating everyone of different faiths equally. Destroying Mecca and Medina would basically give dangerous precedence to others that it’s a legitimate form of political exchange and tactic to bomb Jerusalem, the Holy Mount, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Stonehenge, or any other site that holds religious or spiritual significance to other persons of faith.

And this is coming from an agnostic, not a person of any particular faith. And how is this going to help the future of mankind? What a stain on future history books - “Here’s the site that used to be Mecca, the most holy of Muslim sites, but America destroyed it in 2010 after Tom Tancredo was elected President.”

Let’s not let this “gentleman” from Colorado have any more years of service in the Representative body, please???”
