This is a strange story, but not terribly surprising. Turns out Republican Senator Tom DeLay has a rare disorder called antirrhythmia–a disorder that describes a heartbeat that is so faint as to be be undiscernable. Based on his alleged ethical infringements and his sudden and seemingly dog-wagging interest in the life of one Florida woman, it’s a somewhat ironic diagnosis, I’d think.
