I got this idea in my head to do a stark, cartoony black and white image and realized that black and white is how I’d love to be able to see the world.

Just finished watching #RaOne and I gotta say, despite the cultural issues, it was a lot of fun.

And by cultural issues I mean the 4 or 5 music videos injected into the film. We’re not used to those over here in the west. But it was great to see an action movie that had a moral heart and still managed to keep things fresh and fun. Not perfect, but definitely worth checking out–especially if you’re tired of the same old "white man saves the day" model of action movie Hollywood can’t seem to stop making.
