Yep, you read it right, according to a lecture by petroleum geologist CJ Campbell between the years 2005 and 2010, the world’s Oil Producing Entities will reach their peak oil producing levels and the WORLD’S SUPPLY OF OIL WILL RUN OUT.

Campbell is a man who has travelled around the world helping oil companies find more oil to drill. They have essentially accounted for all of it. And some time between 2005 and 2010, we’ll begin to run out of it. At least, that’s what Campbell said in a lecture he gave to a German University back in December of 2000. Kind of interesting considering the talk of how the US Government’s current interest in Iraq, which just happens to be sitting atop the second largest supply of oil left in the world.

Kind of interesting to note that in King George’s State-of-the-Empire speech in January of 2003 he explained that children born today will be driving hydrogen-powered cars. Interesting that this will happen about ten years too late to mean anything…
